SPANISH SPEAKING CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST NEEDED.  The Children's Assessment Center (CAC) in Houston, Texas seeks to hire a full-time Spanish Speaking Clinical Psychologist to join our clinical team to provide psychological services to child victims of sexual abuse and their families. The candidate will serve as a consultant to CAC staff and CAC partner agencies regarding the role of psychology at The CAC. The candidate will also conduct psychological evaluations on and provide individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention to both children and adults. In addition, this candidate's time will involve some level of supervision of Pre-doctoral Psychology Interns, Psychology Practicum students, and/or Post-doctoral Fellows in Psychology. Other essential job responsibilities include the provision of expert court testimony in both civil and criminal cases, participating in multidisciplinary case staffing, and giving community and professional presentations on topics pertinent to child sexual abuse and mental health more generally. The candidate will perform other duties as assigned and must adhere to APA Ethical Guidelines in performing all job tasks. The candidate must be a provisionally or fully licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas, and strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish are required. Entry level candidates must have one year of experience working directly with abuse and trauma populations. Advanced candidates must also possess experience working with legal and protective systems, as well as experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
