Welcome to the Houston Psychological Association's Referral Service

All of the psychologists participating in the Houston Psychological Association's "Psychologists Referral" service are HPA Members in Good Standing and are credentialed by the Texas State Board of Examiners in Psychologists, which is the regulatory board for practicing psychologists in Texas.   The members provide the information about their practice and interest areas, therefore HPA is not endorsing any particular psychologist, nor are we guaranteeing satisfaction with their services.  HPA does not have minimum requirements of its referral members for years of experience or malpractice insurance, and encourages you to ask your referral psychologist these questions.

The purpose of the Houston Psychological Association is to promote the development of psychology as a science and profession. Houston Psychological Association offers psychologists opportunities for professional growth and association with other psychologists. HPA serves to foster constructive relations with allied professionals and to promote ethical standards for psychological practice. HPA offers consumers an information and referral service to facilitate contact with qualified psychologists and a speakers bureau to address community concerns. HPA is dedicated to fostering responsible community ties.
